Tales from the Tummy

For those who may want to know which restaurant is worth visiting around  Metro Manila, you can read some of  personal review in the website Tales from the Tummy. You will find a list of restaurant that the author visited from Makati to Quezon City. The website has a very detailed review of every restaurant he visited with clear photos.

On one of his blog posts, he had this photo of beef mechado that looks appetizing. He has this review of the restaurant Elias by Crisostomo, a restaurant of Chef Florabel Co, located at Bonifacio High Street Central in Taguig City. Elias is serving classic Filipino dishes.

Here now, the author answered briefly and straightforward the questions I emailed to him. He said that there’s really no set criteria in choosing topics for his Food Finds section of his blog. If something catches his fancy, he try the food in that restaurant and blog about it. He also stated that we just have to be proud to serve Filipino food and look for ways to make it more presentable to make our food interesting as other international cuisines. The advice that he can share to fellow food bloggers is, “To try and try, be it food or writing or taking pictures. The more experience you get, the better it will be.”
