Here is a quick and easy recipe of chicken curry that only requires basic ingredients. The preparation is suitable for anyone of us always on-the go and needed to prepare our meal fast but tasty.



½ kg chicken legs
1 tbsp curry powder
1 cup coconut milk
1 thumb ginger, cut into strips
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 medium onion, chopped
1 small green bell pepper, sliced
1 tbsp fish sauce
1 thumb ginger, cut into strips
1 cup water
Oil for sautéing


  1. Sauté the ginger, followed by garlic and onion.
  2. Add the chicken immediately.
  3. Let the chicken cook for 1-2 minutes, mixing occasionally to prevent too much browning.
  4. Add fish sauce and curry powder.
  5. Add coconut milk and water and simmer until the chicken is cooked.
  6. Add the green bell pepper, and turn off the heat.
  7. Serve hot and best with steamed rice.
