A late dinner at Ketchup near Thalia, we’ve noticed that we’re actually early. Probably, most of the people are still adjusting to the Ramadan this year. We’re expecting that restaurants here in Riyadh will be crowded.

The food at Ketchup has a wide array in variety. I couldn’t identify what’s their specialty but it seems all American with a different twist. I particularly like the salad with apple slices and walnuts with a dressing that is new to my palate. The taste is really refreshing and it’s great for health too. You can finish one serving so fast that you could not notice.

The seafood pasta is also great with big pieces of prawns on it. The sauce is creamy and you’ll get over the taste once you finish the meal.

The place is also elegant with the dramatic lighting effect. Everywhere you look you’ll see red. It seems like there is a celebration common to Philippines that is Valentines Day.

Apple Walnut salad priced at SR28, Fried Calamari for SR22.

Total bill is SR198 for two including drinks and soup.
