Kitaro Sushi SM Mall of Asia – Philippines, More Than a Japanese Fast Food Restaurant
For a very long time Filipinos who are craving for Japanese go to Tokyo Tokyo – a popular fast food in the Philippines. That was until Kitaro Sushi opened its first mall branch in SM Manila years back in July 2001. Filipinos and now have an alternative to good old Tokyo Tokyo. They offer several authentic Japanese cuisines at affordable price. Today Kitaro Sushi is almost a household name as Tokyo Tokyo. Kitaro Sushi how has more than 30 branches; most of them are located in major malls.
Kitaro Sushi is not just ordinary, especially Kitaro Sushi in Mall of Asia (MOA). In fact, they are a bit pricier. Still, most of the items in their menu are very affordable. If you have never dined at Kitaro Sushi MOA, you will definitely find the branch delightful. The ambiance is great and the service is professional but friendly. When it comes to the menu, you have great options. If you are not on a budget, you can treat yourself to house specialties, like seafood tepanyaki, salmon sushi, Kitaro special salad and beef yakiniudon. Now, if you are on a budget, do not worry. Kitaro Sushi MOA offers very affordable rice toppings. You can choose from tofu steku rice, gyoza fried rice, omu beef rice, katsudon and bibimba. Kitaro also has party trays which you can take home if you are having small gatherings. They have different platters you can choose from. The platters include assorted sushi. You can choose from 40 pieces to 112 pieces.

This visit in Kitaro Sushi MOA was unexpected as we found less Japanese restaurant in the area – or we may be running out some time looking for more because we were about to watch a movie. I would like to treat my daughter to at least rather not a fast food Japanese restaurant that time because she had been asking differences about sushi and sashimi and I saw her one time conveniently using a chopstick when eating at home better than I did.
We had California Maki, but my daughter was hesitant to eat the ebiko or shrimp roe, but she loved it having the mango. She was not also ready eating sushi because she was kept on thinking it was raw. Eventually, she tasted some and selected what she liked in the assorted sushi that we ordered. She was also removing the
Well, so far we liked the experience dining in Kitaro Sushi, but only moderately liked. Maybe not like other authentic Japanese restaurants in Manila like Saisaki and Sakae Sushi, but still at fast food price, it was just fine. Somehow, I found the food not that fresh – considering I had tasted so much Japanese food – well, outside the Philippines like this one favorite of mine – the Tokyo Restaurant in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. Another excellent Japanese restaurant is also located in Turkey – Sushico is recommended.
This branch of Kitaro Sushi is located in Ground Floor of the Entertainment Mall in SM Mall of Asia, Roxazs Boulevard, Pasay City, Philippines. Visit the website for other information www.kitaro-sushi.com.ph.
