Vegetable Fish Balls

Fish Balls are commonly smooth in texture with opaque white color. The fish meat is usually passed into multiple grinders to give this smooth texture that it pops when deep fried. It can contain much extender at times using flour. In this recipe, freshly chopped vegetables are added to give a different texture. There is no exact measurements yet is indicated in this recipe, but a new improved recipe will be posted soon.


White Fish fillets
Mashed potatoes
Grated carrots
Minced celery
Minced garlic
Minced onions
Fish sauce
Ground pepper
Ginger powder

Finely chopped fish fillets.
Boil or steam the potatoes and mash.
Grate the carrots using not so fine mesh.
Mince the celery, garlic and onions.
Mix all ingredients.
Season according to taste.
Form into balls. Dust some flour so as not to be sticky.
Deep fry.
Serve with sweet chilli sauce or create your own sauce.
